Step into the world of Cantonese dumplings and get ready to wrap, fold, steam (and taste!) your way through a hands-on dumpling masterclass. In this class you’ll learn how to make dumpling dough from scratch — and then roll and shape it to create beautiful, handmade parcels.

Learn how to make some of the most popular, classic steamed dim sum dumplings including har gow (classic prawn dim sum with its delightfully translucent wrapper), sui mai (pork & prawn) and chiu chow (squash & mushroom). We’ll be making some with dough from scratch, and some with shop bought dumpling wrappers.

Once the folding and cooking is done, we’ll gather round and feast on a 2-course dim sum meal, featuring all the dumplings you helped create plus a yummy dessert.

You’ll leave with new dumpling-making skills, a belly full of delicious food — and a full set of recipes to take home to recreate the magic in your own kitchen.

Recipes for everything we cook will be provided. This class is not suitable for gluten free guests but can be adjusted for vegetarians and vegans. Please let us know when you book. For other dietary requirements let us know when booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate if possible.

Ages 16+, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost: £60
